"After two years of intense research on
climate change and the reasons for its development, some questions became
more and more relevant to me:
Have we lost our common sense?
Are we only looking for shortterm profit?
Are we really only focussed on our greedy egos?
These questions in mind I started looking for historical moral codes - and
got also in touch with the christian catechism (i am not a religious person!)
and the seven deadly sins. And here I paused for a moment - and started
attributing the identified problems to the seven sins - and realized that the
seven sins are actually quite modern and that they represent the problems of
today.
In this moment I started to work on "The Seven Sins" - a lecture to
understand the unsustainable development we went through for the last 60
years and even more importantly to give an outlook on the hopes and the
necessary changes we have to undertake."
Kolb has started his "Seven Sins" Tour in march 2010 - the lecture will be
held at conferences but also for companies and governments all over the world.
At the same time Kolb is writing "The Seven Sins" book which will be
published in 2011.
